Enid Blyton's Enchanted Lands: With David Holt, Richard Pearce, Janet James, Roy Hudd. When the children climb the Faraway Tree they discover it is inhabited by different magical creatures, including Moon-Face, Silky the fairy, The Saucepan Man, Dame Washalot, Mr. Watzisname and the Angry Pixie. They befriend some of these creatures, in particular Moon-face and Silky.. It's fantasy all the way as the children make use of the wonderful Faraway Tree. Moon-face gets his toffee and another land is visited which has the potential for negative consequences. During this adventure the children re-live the immortal story of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" and there is a battle with some Magic Snowmen.

Jo, Bessie and Fanny move to the countryside and find an enchanted wood right on the doorstep. In the wood stands the Magic Faraway Tree, where the children meet strange characters like Mr Whatsisname, the Saucepan Man, Silky and Moon-Face. They visit some of the strange lands which lie at the top of the tree, such as the land of Topsy-Turvy and the land of Do-As-You-Please, during their many.. The four books that make up Blyton's children's series - The Enchanted Wood, The Magic Faraway Tree, The Folk of Faraway Tree and Up the Faraway tree - were penned between 1939 and 1951.
